Ahmed Nassar is a distinguished IT Consultant and Technical Trainer with over 13 years of experience in the industry. Since earning my MCT certification in 2015, I have provided specialized training in Microsoft technologies alongside my full-time engineering roles. My role included the administration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO across a hybrid infrastructure, as well as managing server deployments through VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V. I also contributed to the automation of system configurations and software deployment using SCCM, enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime. This position sharpened my expertise in enterprise system design, remote management, and secure infrastructure delivery.

At Heidelberg Cement, I managed the administration and migration of critical IT services across physical and virtual environments. My responsibilities included supporting enterprise Windows systems, configuring group policies, overseeing Active Directory, and performing full-scale backup and recovery operations. I migrated core services to virtual infrastructure using VMware and Hyper-V while ensuring compliance with best practices in security and redundancy. I also maintained file services and user access controls, playing a key role in IT operations continuity for the organization.

In this role, I provided technical support and systems administration across the company’s branch offices. My tasks involved diagnosing hardware and software issues, managing user access through Active Directory, and administering key services such as DNS, DHCP, CA, WSUS, and Remote Desktop. I implemented effective backup strategies and led the deployment of desktop environments and network printers. During this internship at Telecom Egypt, I participated in Cisco Academy’s CCNA Exploration program, focusing on Network Fundamentals. The training covered key areas of computer networking, including IP addressing, subnetting, switching, and routing principles. I gained hands-on experience with Cisco devices and developed a solid understanding of layered network architecture, basic configuration of routers and switches, and network troubleshooting methodologies.
